Regular site management to keep your drainage systems running as they should

Site maintenance

Andersons Waste Management Ltd can help keep your site drainage running by carrying out a site maintenance plan on a regular basis.

This includes removal of sludge waste from gullies, ACO channeling, interceptors, wash bays etc. located around your premises. All waste is removed by our own tankers and taken to licensed disposal points.

Gullies can get blocked with leaves or rubbish that can cause flooding to sites, as the water is unable to escape in the drainage. To prevent this they should be cleaned out at least once or twice a year.

Other incidences such as damaged gratings, manhole covers, channeling etc. can be dangerous and should be repaired as soon as possible. We can repair any damaged chambers or drainage; free quotations will be supplied.

In conjunction with the above we can high-pressure water jet all foul and storm drainage to keep running free and clear. This generally can be done either summer time or early winter when all the leaves have fallen from the trees.

We use all our own equipment including our own vacuum tankers, gully sucker, combined tanker jetting unit and trailer jetting unit.

CCTV drain camera survey

Inspecting the condition of drains, sewers and pipelines, CCTV drainage surveying has always been an important part of our business. Many sites, prior to build or refurbishment, often require information on the condition of the drainage to ascertain any problems beforehand.

We provide a fast and effective service for the inspection of all types of pipes and sewers using the latest equipment. Reports and data from these surveys are provided to our clients in a clear and concise written report, along with a colour copy DVD.

Our CCTV surveyors are qualified to ensure consistency and reliability of the information supplied to our customers.

Typically we will be called in to carry out a condition survey before and after construction or to trace and provide a report on a problem drain or sewer.

Andersons Waste Management Ltd can supply, on completion of surveys, drainage plans, site drainage layouts and recommendations on repair options and free quotations.

Common causes for CCTV Cameras Surveys:

Extensions to Property

Some customers having new building work done often are asked by water authorities to provide a survey of the existing drainage. Andersons Waste Management Ltd will provide on completion a report to submit to companies on the condition of the internal drainage.

Fractured / Cracked Drainage Pipes

Pressure from above, such as a heavy vehicle driving over the ground, can cause cracks and fractures in your drainage pipes. If these are left untreated, they can leak contents into soil, which could result in further damage to the pipe or even subsidence.

Collapsed / Broken Drains

Can be caused by the drains being badly built in the first place or a variety of other reasons. If left, not only are blockages likely, but subsidence and environmental damage are possible.

Tree Roots / Root Intrusion / Ingression in Drainage

Roots seek out moisture so they can find their way through existing faults into the drains. Once the tree roots have entered the drain, other material will get caught in them, making blockages far more likely and frequent.
